Water resources data for New Mexico, water year 1978

Water resources data for the 1978 water year for New Mexico consist of records of discharge and water quality of streams; stage, contents and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels and water quality in wells and springs. This report contains discharge records for 229 gaging stations; stage and contents for 24 lakes and reservoirs; water quality for 89 gaging stations, 15 partial-record stations, 2 reservoir, 3 springs and 99 wells; and water levels for 96 observation wells. Also included are 144 crest-stage partial-record stations and 2 low-flow partial-record stations. Additional water data were collected at various sites, not part of the systematic data collection program, and are published as miscellaneous measurements. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U. S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in New Mexico.

Water resources data for South Carolina, water year 1984

Water resources data for the 1984 water year for South Carolina consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage, contents, and water quality of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels of ground-water wells. This volume contains records for water discharge at 93 gaging stations, stage only at 5 gaging stations, stage and contents at 11 lakes and reservoirs, water quality at 49 gaging stations, and water levels at 62 observation wells. Also included are data for 40 crest-stage partial-record station. Locations of these sites are shown on figures 3, 4, 5, and 6. Additional water data were collected at various sites not involved in the systematic data-collection program. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in South Carolina.

Water resources data for South Carolina, water year 1988

Water resources data for the 1988 water year for South Carolina consist of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; stage and contents of lakes and reservoirs; and levels of ground-water wells. This volume contains records for water discharge at 104 gaging stations, stage only at 18 gaging stations, stage and contents at 12 lakes and reservoirs, water-quality at 61 gaging stations, and water levels at 43 observation wells. Also included are data for 41 crest-stage partial-record stations and discharge measurement information at 4 locations. Locations of these sites are shown on figures 3, 4, 5, and 6. Water resources data for New Jersey, water year 1972; Part 2. Water quality records

Water resources data for the 1972 water year for New Jersey include records of data for the chemical and physical characteristics of surface-, and ground water. Data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorded on punched paper tape at 60-minute intervals. Records are given for 111 sampling stations of which 51 are continuous record stations, 49 are partial-record stations, and 11 are miscellaneous sites. Records of chemical analyses also are given for 279 ground-water sites. Locations of surface water- quality stations are shown in Figure 1 and locations of ground-water sites are shown in Figure 2. A few pertinent stations in bordering States are also included. The records were collected by the Water Resources Division of the .U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of J. E. McCall, district chief and P. W. Anderson, district coordinator. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in New Jersey. The Geological Survey has published records of chemical quality, water temperatures, and sediment in New Jersey since 1945 in an annual series of water-supply papers entitled, "Quality of Surface Waters of the United States." Beginning with the 1964 water year, water-quality records have been released by the Geological Survey in annual reports on a State-boundary basis. These reports are for limited distribution and are designed primarily for rapid release of data shortly after the end of the water year. These records will be published later in Geological Survey water-supply papers.

Water resources data for New Hampshire and Vermont, water year 2002

The Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with State agencies, obtains a large amount of data pertaining to the water resources of New Hampshire and Vermont each water year. These data, accumulated during many water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the States. To make these data readily available to interested parties outside the U.S. Geological Survey, the data are published annually in this report series entitled 'Water Resources Data-New Hampshire and Vermont.' This report series includes records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; contents of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels of ground-water wells. This volume contains records for water discharge at 84 gaging stations; stage records for 5 lakes; month end contents for 2 lakes and reservoirs; and water levels at 38 observation wells. Also included are data for 43 crest-stage partial record stations. Locations of these sites are shown in figures 1 and 2. Additional water data were collected at various sites not involved in the systematic data-collection program and are published under miscellaneous discharge measurements for gaging stations in New Hampshire and Vermont. The data in this report represent that part of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Water resources data for West Virginia, water year 1979. Appendix - coal areas

Water resources data for the 1979 water year for coal regions of West Virginia consist of records of discharge and water quality of streams, wells, mines, and abandoned mine shafts; and water levels in wells and abandoned mine shafts. Section 1 consists of data obtained for the statewide Coal Hydrology Monitoring project and includes discharge and water-quality data collected during two sampling periods at 361 sites. Section 2 consists of data obtained for the Mining Effects Research project in five small basins in southwestern West Virginia during the period February 1976 to January 1980 and includes records of water quality for 53 stream sampling sites, 52 well sampling sites, 31 mine-discharge sampling sites, and 2 mine-shaft sampling sites; and water levels in 6 wells and 2 mine shafts.

Water resources data for West Virginia, water year 1971; Part 1. Surface water records; Part 2. Water quality records

Water resources data for the 1971 water year for West Virginia including records of streamflow or reservoir storage at gaging stations, partial-record stations, and miscellaneous sites, and records of water-quality data on the chemical and physical characteristics of surface water, are given in this report. In Part 1, records are included for 111 gaging stations of which 105 are streamflow discharge stations, 1 is stage only streamflow station, and 5 are reservoir or lake stations; also included are records for 5 low-flow partial-record stations, 44 crest-stage partial-record stations, and 6 miscellaneous sites. Locations of gaging stations are shown in Figure 1. In Part 2, data on the quality of surface water (chemical, temperature, and sediment) were collected from designated sampling sites at predetermined intervals such as once daily, weekly, monthly, or less frequently, and at some sites data were recorder on punched paper tape at 15-, 30-, or 60-minute intervals. Records are given for 23 sampling stations of which 10 are continuous record stations, 11 are partial-record stations, and 2 are miscellaneous sites. Locations of water-quality stations are shown in Figure 1. A few pertinent stations (not included above) in bordering States are also included in this report. The records were collected and computed by the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey under the direction of Edwin E. Harris, district chief. These data represent that portion of the National Water Data System collected by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in West Virginia.

Water resources data, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, water year 2004

The Caribbean Water Science Center of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with local and Federal agencies obtains a large amount of data pertaining to the water resources of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands each water year. These data, accumulated during many water years, constitute a valuable data base for developing an improved understanding of the water resources of the area. To make these data readily available to interested parties outside the U.S. Geological Survey, the data are published annually in this report series entitled 'Water Resources Data for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.' This report includes records on both surface and ground water. Specifically, it contains: (1) discharge records for 89 streamflow-gaging stations, daily sediment records for 13 sediment stations, stage records for 18 reservoirs, and (2) water-quality records for 20 streamflow-gaging stations, and for 38 ungaged stream sites, 13 lake sites, 2 lagoons, and 1 bay, and (3) water-level records for 72 observation wells. Water-resources data for Puerto Rico for calendar years 1958-67 were released in a series of reports entitled 'Water Records of Puerto Rico.' Water-resources data for the U.S. Virgin Islands for the calendar years 1962-69 were released in a report entitled 'Water Records of U.S. Virgin Islands.' Included were records of streamflow, ground-water levels, and water-quality data for both surface and ground water. Beginning with the 1968 calendar year, surface-water records for Puerto Rico were released separately on an annual basis. Ground-water level records and water-quality data for surface and ground water were released in companion reports covering periods of several years. Data for the 1973-74 reports were published under separate covers. Water-resources data reports for 1975 to 2003 water years consist of one volume each and contain data for streamflow, water quality, and ground water.

Water resources data for Oregon, water year 2004

The annual Oregon water data report is one of a series of annual reports that document hydrologic data gathered from the U.S. Geological Survey's surface- and ground-water data-collection networks in each State, Puerto Rico, and the Trust Territories. These records of streamflow, ground-water levels, and quality of water provide the hydrologic information needed by State, local, Tribal, and Federal agencies and the private sector for developing and managing our Nation's land and water resources. This report contains water year 2004 data for both surface and ground water, including discharge records for 209 streamflow-gaging stations, 42 partial-record or miscellaneous streamflow stations, and 9 crest-stage partial-record streamflow stations; stage-only records for 6 gaging stations; stage and content records for 15 lakes and reservoirs; water-level records from 12 long-term observation wells; and water-quality records collected at 133 streamflow-gaging stations and 1 atmospheric deposition station.

Water resources data for the 2003 water year for Massachusetts and Rhode Island consists of records of stage, discharge, and water quality of streams; contents of lakes and reservoirs; and water levels of ground-water wells. This report contains discharge records for 108 gaging stations, stage records for 2 gaging stations, stage records for 3 ponds; monthend contents of 1 reservoir, precipitation totals at 8 gaging stations; water quality for 27 gaging stations, air temperature at 2 climatological stations; water levels for 129 observation wells, and ground-water quality for 15 wells. Miscellaneous hydrologic data were collected at various sites that were not a part of the systematic data-collection program and are published as miscellaneous discharge measurements and miscellaneous surface-water-quality data. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
